This policy covers the BuildOnline website at buildonline.ai and www.buildonline.ai. It describes what we actually collect, why, and who receives it. It is written to be read rather than to be survived.
grow.buildonline.ai, the system we use to book calls and follow up, has its own fuller privacy policy. The signup form on this site submits to it, so both apply — see "Booking a call" below.
Who we are
BuildOnline is a marketing services company selling websites, automated lead follow-up and review management to contractors in the United States. We are the controller of the information described here. You can reach us at [email protected].
Visiting this website
Apart from the signup form described below, this site has no contact form. Just by visiting, you get:
- A small number of first-party cookies, described below, so we can tell one visit from another and know which advertisement or link brought you here.
- Standard technical logging by Cloudflare, our hosting provider — your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. This is normal for any website and is used for security and keeping the site running.
Cookies
We use three first-party cookies. They are set by this site directly, not sold to anyone, and are not used to build a profile of you across the wider internet.

You can block or delete these in your browser at any time. The site works fine without them — you just won't be remembered between visits.
Booking a call
Every "Book a call" button on this site takes you to /signup, a short form on this site. It asks how your business is doing, when you want to fix it, how you get jobs today, and then your phone number, email and name. We use that to call you back and book your demo call.
The form is submitted to grow.buildonline.ai, our booking and follow-up system, which stores it and is where the rest of our contact with you happens. Its privacy policy covers what happens to the information after you submit, and is the fuller document: grow.buildonline.ai/privacy.
Calls, texts and your consent
The signup form has a tick box you must tick before you can submit it. It says:
"I agree that BuildOnline may call and text me about my enquiry and about its services and offers, including using automated technology, prerecorded or artificial voice. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
If you do not tick it, we do not record consent and we do not call or text you. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. We do not share your mobile number or the content of your text messages with any third party for their own marketing, and we never sell them. Phone numbers go only to the providers that deliver the messages you asked for.
We record the moment you gave consent and the exact wording shown to you. Consent cannot be added to a record afterwards — if it was not captured when you submitted the form, we treat it as not given.
If you become a customer
If you sign up for BuildOnline's services, we collect what we need to set them up and run them: your business name, contact details, and access to any accounts required to do the work. We use GoHighLevel and similar platforms to deliver services like automated follow-up and review requests, and your customer and lead data is stored there to make that possible.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone outside the parties listed above and on grow.buildonline.ai's own policy.

Children
This service is for businesses. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially — for example, if we add a contact form or an advertising pixel to this site — we will update the date at the top and what this page says we collect. Continuing to use the site after that means the updated policy applies.
