Terms of Service

These terms apply to this website and to the services BuildOnline provides. By using the site or buying a service, you agree to them.
What we provide
BuildOnline builds and operates marketing systems for contracting businesses: a website, automated follow-up to your enquiries by text and email, a system that requests reviews from your customers, and help getting found in local search.
We build on third-party platforms, including GoHighLevel. Your service depends on those platforms continuing to operate and on their own terms.
What we charge
- No setup fees. You pay the price shown at the time you sign up, billed monthly in advance.
- Month-to-month. No long-term contract. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the period you have already paid for.
- We do not refund part-months. If you cancel, your service runs until the period ends.
- If a payment fails we will tell you and may pause the service until it is settled.
What we need from you
- Accurate business information, and access to the accounts we need in order to do the work.
- Responses when we ask for them. Work that waits on you is work that does not happen.
- That you own or have the right to use anything you give us — photographs, logos, text, reviews.
- That you comply with the law when contacting the people we generate for you. That includes obtaining consent before texting or calling, and honouring opt-outs. We build the mechanism; following the rules is yours.
Text messaging registration
Automated business text messaging in the United States requires registration (A2P 10DLC) with the mobile carriers, in your business's name. It typically takes one to three weeks and we cannot begin it before you provide your business details. Text-based features do not work until it completes. We will start the process as soon as we can, but the timeline is set by the carriers, not by us.
Text messages from BuildOnline
These terms cover the text messages we send you. They are separate from the registration section above, which is about messaging sent by your own business.
- How you opt in. By ticking the consent box on our signup form at buildonline.ai/signup, or by submitting the form on grow.buildonline.ai, you agree that BuildOnline may call and text you about your enquiry, including using automated technology and a prerecorded or artificial voice. Consent is not a condition of purchase. We do not buy, rent or import phone numbers.
- What we send. Confirmation of a call you booked, reminders before it, the video link, and follow-up about your enquiry.
- How often. Message frequency varies and depends on your activity — typically a handful of messages around a scheduled call.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for the messages; your mobile carrier may.
- Stopping them. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected] or call +1 786-786-0530. Opting out of texts does not cancel your service and does not stop transactional email.
- Delivery. Carriers do not guarantee that a message will arrive, and we are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Your number. We never sell your mobile number, and we do not share it or the content of your messages with any third party for their own marketing. It goes only to the providers that deliver the messages you asked for. See our Privacy Policy.
Who owns what
- Yours: your business content, your customer data, your leads, your domain. If you leave, you take them.
- Ours: the systems, templates, automations and methods we use to build your service. You are licensed to use them while you are a customer, not to resell them.
What we do not promise
We do not guarantee a number of leads, a number of jobs, or an amount of revenue. Anything we show you about other businesses' results is what happened for them, not a prediction about you. Results depend on your market, your pricing, how fast you respond, and how you sell.
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Ending it
Either of us can end the arrangement with notice. We may suspend or end a service immediately if it is being used unlawfully, or in a way that puts our platform accounts at risk. On cancellation we will give you a copy of your customer data on request.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
